L’Opera guarantees authentic Italian quality cuisine in a cozy and elegant atmosphere. It is truly a pleasure every time I have the opportunity to visit. From the excellent starters to the perfectly executed main course, everything was on point—capped off by Chef Paolo’s signature tiramisu, prepared fresh at the table. It simply could not have been better. Thank you for another outstanding experience.

Top-Tier Italian with Real Attention to Detail We let the team at L’Opera know a day in advance that we were coming, and they had a chilled bottle of biological wine ready for us—something we really appreciated. Great to see a place not only offering that kind of selection but handling it with care. Dinner was excellent across the board. We had the steak, octopus carpaccio, and crab soup—all executed beautifully. The octopus was delicate and fresh, the steak perfectly cooked, and the crab soup rich and layered without being heavy. We did the scarpetta with their delicious bread—couldn’t help ourselves. The prosciutto con melon came with an unexpected twist—mango—a combo I’d never had before and really enjoyed. We also had the linguine vongole, then finished with a classic tiramisu and a couple glasses of amaro to round things off. To top it all off, a live trio played traditional Filipino and Italian/Spanish songs—classy, warm, and a perfect backdrop to the evening. As someone from Jersey, I’m picky when it comes to Italian food—but L’Opera hits the mark. Elegant yet unpretentious, with a real respect for ingredients and hospitality. Highly recommended.

So far, their pasta is the best in Manila for me. Pizza was just average but of course, authentic. Their staffs were so accommodating and professional. They moved to new location, so I made a visit to try. The old one had a better ambience but new one is more approachable. Because last one had a fine dining aura that made casual foodies to hesitate to enter. But new one, you can see the restaurant from outside. Anyway, food, still great. Try their pasta and course meal for special occasion. Their sunday roast is must try. Grazie mille!

I must say that this is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Manila. I felt like I got transported back to Italy. It had an elegant yet homely vibe. The service was excellent, and our server was very attentive to my husband and I. They used fine ingredients to our pizza, pastas and even to our bread with 3 spreads.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A True Italian Gem in the Metro I’m so wowed by this Italian restaurant that I came back the very next day to try their lunch specials! The ambience is warm, elegant, and authentically Italian—you’ll even see Italians dining here, which says a lot. L’Opera has been a staple in the metro since the 1990s, and it’s incredible how they’ve maintained their authenticity with just one branch all these years. The service is excellent, with long-time staff who are attentive and genuinely welcoming. The food? Absolutely delicious. Every dish is made with care and tastes like a true Italian kitchen. And considering the quality, the prices are very reasonable. This place has definitely earned a spot on my regular dining list.
